1 tbsp sesame seeds
100g mollasses (unrefined sugar)
1/4 tsp salt
100g almond butter
75g coconut oil
1 tbsp water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat oven 180 degrees C.
In a large pan over medium/low heat toast the oats and sesame seeds for 5 minutes
Add the remaining ingredients for the crumb into your Ninja blender
Blend for 2 – 3 minutes then press half the mixture into a lined loaf tin with the grease proof paper coming over the edges to make it easier to lift out.
Add the dates, water, vanilla, ground ginger and ground cinnamon to your Ninja blender and blend until it comes together.
Using a spoon, add the date mixture to the tin and spread evenly.
Top with the remaining crumb and bake for 30 – 35 minutes.
Cool completely, then lift the paper out of the tray and cut into 16 bars
